Frequency Studio

Four audio tools. One studio.

OmniTone is a browser-based audio workbench. Everything you hear is synthesised live by the Web Audio API on your own device — there are no sound files to download, no account to create, and nothing you play is ever sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

  • No. OmniTone runs entirely in the browser using the Web Audio API. It works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on desktop, Android and iOS. You can add it to your home screen for a fullscreen, app-like experience, but that is optional.

  • Once the page has loaded, the audio itself needs no network at all — every tone is generated mathematically on your device. Reloading the page does require a connection unless your browser has cached it.

  • No. OmniTone only produces sound; it never requests microphone access and never uploads anything. Your settings stay in your browser.

  • A pure sine tone concentrates all its energy at a single frequency, so it feels much louder than noise or music at the same setting. The water ejector deliberately runs at full output because a quiet signal cannot move water. Start low and raise the level gradually.

  • The tone generator, water ejector and noise masker all work on a phone speaker. Binaural beats are the exception — they require headphones, because each ear must receive a different frequency.

Every tone is generated by your own browser. No uploads, no accounts, no tracking of what you play.
